Our story

Every first encounter can open the door to something new.

A first encounter carries curiosity, surprise and possibility. For many people, this may be their first experience of 3D printing—or the first time they turn an idea into something they can hold.

Prima Nova aims to be a starting point where children, families and makers meet technology, art and hands-on creativity.

  • Discovery
  • Curiosity
  • Co-creation
  • Physical results

From curiosity to result

More than watching: participants join the process.

We turn abstract STEAM ideas into activities that can be observed, touched and tested, making every step easier to understand.

  1. Observe and ask

Start with a physical object, structure or challenge and ask why it works.

  2. Build and create

Use age-appropriate tools and prepared materials to turn an idea into something tangible.

  3. Test and improve

Observe the result, identify a problem and make a simple adjustment.

Frequently asked

What you may want to know first.

Do classes require coding, 3D printing or modelling experience?

No. Beginner activities require no previous experience and are adjusted to participants' ages and abilities. Some activities use prepared parts, while the Creative 3D Printing workshop introduces simple modelling before printing.

Will students operate a running printer?

Students do not handle the hot end, heated bed, moving components, filament changes, part removal or maintenance. Demonstrations are led by an instructor in a pre-assessed, suitably ventilated venue.

Where are public classes held?

Public classes use hired or partner venues. A location and date are only published after arrangements are confirmed.

Why are product prices not displayed?

Options may vary by style, material, colour, size or personalisation. WhatsApp is used to confirm the actual price and availability before ordering.
